But I just couldn’t stop myself from posting another pink wonder as I got really excited to share this amazing super nutritious smoothie recipe with you, so here it is- Acai, banana, coconut milk, maca, shia seeds, flaxseed oil, tahini, bee pollen and raw cacao. The perfect morning superfood remedy! It’s so wonderfully sweet with the best texture ever. The mix of banana, acai and coconut milk somehow turns the consistent into the creamiest almost silky consistency which just melds in your mouth. If you have never tried these super foods acai, maca and bee pollen, I recommend getting some, they are amazing-  So tasty, so energizing and full of wonderful health benefits! The acai berry is one of the highest anti-oxidants rich foods ever tasted which protects you from free radicals that can lead you to chronic diseases.

The maca root ( also called Peruvian ginseng) is high in vitamin B,C and E and provides plenty of zinc, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and amino acids. One of the things I love most about the maca root is that it relieves menstrual issues and menopause and it alleviates cramps, body pain, hot flashes, anxiety, mood swings and depression. Maca is also a wonderful remedy for skin issues, as for some people it helps clear acne and blemishes, and it decreases sensivity which means maca can help your skin withstand extreme temperatures. In general maca helps your overall health in number of ways. It supplies iron and helps restore red blood cells, which aids anemia or cardiovascular diseases. It keeps your bones and teeth healthy, and when used in conjunction with workout you will notice an increase in muscle mass. It is also said it increases mental energy and focus. Awesome superfood right?

Bee pollen has so many amazing health benefits! It is rich in proteins, approximately 40 %, which makes it more rich in protein than any animal source. It contains more amino acids than beef, eggs or cheese of equal weight! Bee pollen can be used medically  for a wide range of conditions from prostate health to skin conditions and can help correct specific nutritional imbalances within the body. It is a great natural energizer- the carbohydrates, protein and B vitamins, can help you keep going all day by enchanting the stamina and help fighting off fatigue. It supports the cardiovascular system, boosts the immune system because of its antibiotic-type properties, that can help protect the body from contracting viruses. Its high amount of antioxidants protects the sells from the damaging oxidation of free radicals. Bee pollen also contains enzymes that can aid in digestion.

Of course the rest of the smoothie will also do wonders such as the shia seeds, the raw cacao and tahini, flaxseed oil and banana which gives you healthy fats, a big boost of antioxidants and proteins, and loads you up with life-giving vitamins and minerals so that you’re all ready to go for an amazing day!
